A Little Bit about Me

I love traveling! Here are some places I’ve been to: :cn: :hong_kong: :macau: :us: :singapore: :malaysia: :thailand: :united_arab_emirates: :australia: :new_zealand: :tr: :ru: :gb: :jp: :kr: :fr: :it: :switzerland: :vatican_city: :canada:. Exploring different cuisines around the world is one of my favorite things to do!

I grew up in Guangzhou, a city in southern China, and now live in Chicago. Before majoring in math, I was deeply interested in history—and I still enjoy reading history books from time to time. Lately, I’ve also been fascinated by physics beyond my formal research; physical models are incredibly powerful!

I love learning languages! I’m fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and I’m currently learning Spanish and Japanese. My Cantonese name is Fung Tsz Yui.

In my free time, I enjoy reading (both classical and modern works in Chinese and English), watching movies from all over the world, and playing video games (I’m a Steam user!). Some games I’ve recently played include Don’t Starve Together, Fall Guys, It Takes Two, and Naraka: Bladepoint. Gaming is always better with friends! In the past, I also played the violin and piano (sadly, no longer now).
